Key Club

Key Club is a service leadership organization for high school students, operating under school regulations and drawing its membership from the student body. The Morrison High School Key Club is sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Morrison. Key Club's objective is the development of initiative, leadership ability, and good citizenship. Key Club is the largest service organization of its kind with more than 210,000 members and 4,500 clubs worldwide.

Student Council

Advisors: Lisa Welvaert & Melissa Landes

Student Council is an organization in which students are elected by their peers each year. The purpose of Student Council is to improve the high school atmosphere by providing extracurricular activities and improving school grounds. Student Council also strives to increase student involvement within the community.

Illinois Math League

Illinois Math League meets 6 times each year (once a month through the fall and winter months). Meets are held in the library during home room period. A 6 problem test is taken during each session. The objectives are to encourage students to be problem solvers and to have the ability to apply the knowledge that they have learned in the classroom. The math teachers select from 40-50 students from: Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus classes.

Scholastic Bowl

Scholastic Bowl Team practices after school on Tuesdays. Competitions are in 12 tournaments throughout the school year.

Jazz Band

Jazz Band rehearses Monday evenings and performs three or four concerts during the year.

M-Club

The M-Club is an athletic club for anyone at Morrison High School with a Varsity or JV letter. This is an athletic club that buys peripherals for the athletic department.
