Illinois Extension 4-H and Sauk Valley Community College are offering a food safety certification class for 14- to 18-year-olds. The sessions are November 4 & 5 and are designed to help them prepare for jobs/promotions in the food service industry.

Congratulations to Morrison’s Fr/Soph Scholastic Bowl team on its 3-1 record and first-place finish at the Galena High School JV Scholastic Bowl Tournament on Saturday, Oct. 3! Sophomore Gunner Nelson was the team’s leading scorer, answering 24 tossup questions in four rounds against other schools. Well done, Mustangs!

The Morrison Fillies Varsity and JV volleyball teams both brought home 3rd place in the Polo tournaments today. Congratulations ladies, keep it up!!!
Morrison XC had a great meet in Sterling today with 11 PRs! Molly Brackemyer placed 6th in the ladies open earning a medal. Kenadee Carrigan broke her own 5K school record! Bryar Kuehl broke the men’s 5K school record with a time of 18:09! Keep up the hard work!
