The Morrison Kiwanis Club and Morrison HS Key Club will hold a Sandwich Sale on Saturday, October 11 at Odell Public Library. Bring your Mustang-sized appetite for ribeyes, pork chops, brats, hot dogs, soft drinks, and snacks! Most grilled items will be ready to serve starting around 10:15 a.m. We hope to see you there!

Happy National Custodian Day!! Also known as National Custodial Worker's Recognition Day, is an annual observance on October 2, dedicated to appreciating the work of custodians who maintain cleanliness and safety in schools, offices, and public facilities. The day provides an opportunity to express gratitude for their essential, behind-the-scenes efforts. Here at MJHS, Mrs. McNeece and Mrs. Beightler do a wonderful job of keeping our building clean and safe. Their tireless efforts do not go unnoticed. Thank you ladies!!

A tax and shipping fee will both be added. This year, all books will be shipped to student homes instead of being shipped to the school at the end of the year and distributed out to students. Families will receive yearbooks in the mail during the summer of 2026!

At the September Board of Education meeting, the Board of Education formally adopted the 2025-2026 We ARE Morrison district goals. These goals address three critical areas: Academics, Relationship and Resources, and Environment. The district and schools have already begun the process of working on these goals and improving our district. Goal progress will be addressed at each board meeting.

Congratulations to the Morrison Fillies girls volleyball team. They took second place in the Polo varsity volleyball tournament and the freshmen took fourth place in the freshmen tournament. Go Fillies!!!
You can have your shirt shipped directly to you or pick it up at the high school on October 14 during the basket raffle and bake sale.
We will also have goodies from Hannah’s Treat Boutique at both the football and volleyball games, along with other baked goods. The varsity roster will be printed on the back of these shirts — a great keepsake!

One student per grade level will be chosen each month. A Rising Star is:

Please consider Digging Pink with the Morrison Fillies Volleyball Team! All proceeds from the store will go towards the High schools team's efforts to raise funds for breast cancer awareness. The Volley for the Cure match is scheduled for Tuesday, October 14th vs Amboy. The store closes this coming Sunday, September 28th at Midnight.
