The Board of Education will meet for it regularly scheduled meeting tomorrow night at the District Office (100 East Knox Street). Open session will begin at 6:30 pm. There is limited seating available, those wishing to attend online may do so by using the link below. Anyone wishing to address the Board is asked to please call the District office prior to the meeting to be added to the list.

The Junior High has new Apparel to purchase! Please see the JH office for an order form. There are 5 different options to choose from. Orders are due by SEPTEMBER 6.
Last Year's Junior High yearbook has arrived! If you didn't make it in to open house last night or you were an 8th grader last year- stop in to pick yours up at the JH office. There are a limited extra amount of books for sale if you would still like to purchase one.
Thank you to Resthave Care & Rehabilitation and Chris Burks for donating and delivering 20 backpacks, each filled with back to school supplies for MJHS students. Along with the backpacks were 30 boxes of tissues for use in the classrooms.
Thank you to everyone who was able to make it to the MJHS Open House tonight. For those of you that were not able to make it please remember the building will be open daily from 8 AM until 3:30 PM if you would like to bring your student to tour the building and work on their lockers. We look forward to a great start to the school year.
Reminder- MJHS Open house is tomorrow, August 12th, beginning at 6:00PM with 6th Grade Orientation. All 6th grade students and any students and families new to the building are encouraged to meet in the main gym at 6:00PM. From 6:30PM until 7:30PM the building will be open for all students and families to bring in and drop off supplies, practice locker combinations, and visit classrooms. Please note that all individuals over the age of 2 must wear a mask and practice social distancing regardless of your vaccination status. For those students or families that are not able to attend the open house, the building will be open on Friday, Monday, and Tuesday from 8:00AM until 3:30PM.

Applications for MHS Student Council have been emailed to all students. All applications are due by Monday, August 16th at 8:00 am. If your student has any questions they can email Melissa Landes or Tiffany Kao.

Reminder- any incoming 6th grade student that is interested in band should come to the junior high tonight between 4pm and 7pm to try out different instruments. Please report to the band room right inside the front doors.

Backpack Night: Northside and Southside will be holding Backpack Night on Monday, August 16. Northside will be 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM and Southside will be 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM. Please bring your student's supplies and meet their teacher. See you then!

Due to mechanical issues at the High School, tonight’s Board of Education meeting will be in the Junior High library. Open session will start at 6:30 pm.
The MCUD #6 Board of Education will hold its regularly scheduled meeting on Monday July 26 at 6:30 pm in the High School Media Center. The meeting is open to the public, but anyone wishing to attend may view the meeting using the link below. Anyone wishing to speak at the meeting should notify the district office prior to the meeting.
