Tonight the High School Volleyball team will play Oregon at 6:00 pm for the first round of Regional's. The game will be played at Newman High School.

Congratulations to Isaiah McDearmon. He has qualified for the IHSA sectional cross country meet next weekend. One weekend away from state. Isaiah finished 14th overall today. Again Nice job and good luck at Sectionals!!!

REMINDER: School In-Session NOVEMBER 8th, 2024 because the elementary and high school conference dates were merged this year, there is no longer a need an early dismissal on November 8th. We will have a FULL SCHOOL DAY.

Southside will be having the Halloween parade open to parents this year on Oct 31 at 2:30. The students will walk out of the 5th grade doors in the back and walk toward the 3rd grade doors. Parents can line up on the blacktop to see the parade. Rules for students: No face coverings, no accessories, no make-up, and no blow up costumes. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to the Southside office.


Another good weekend for the High School Cross Country team. Emma Christin was the Conference Champion for the girls division and won the MVP for the meet. Isaiah McDearmon finished in 7th place earning All Conference honors.
