
A quick reminder that there will be another meeting for the incoming 8th grade parents on Monday, February 10 at 5:30 in the high school auditorium. This meeting will be identical to the one held Wednesday, February 5. Parents only need to attend one of the meetings.

Don't forget: Incoming 8th graders' "yellow sheet" registration forms are due to Ms. Bovee in the junior high counseling office by Wednesday, February 12th.

Due to unforeseen conflicts, the 8th grade registration presentation will be held Monday, February 10 at 5:30 in the high school auditorium. This time is in addition to tonight's presentation.

The Girl's Basketball game between Morrison & Kewanee Wethersfield scheduled on Thursday Feb. 6th has been cancelled due to a scheduling conflict. There will not be a make up date.

MHS is considering the possibility of offering Driver Education during a summer school session. Subject to approval by the MCUD #6 Board, the program would run from 6/1 through 6/25 & would be priced at $295. Contact Mr. Bartoz by Feb 10 if interested in more information.

Looking for something to do tonight? Checkout Lady Fillies basketball on the NFHS Network. Tip will be approximately 6:50 as the Fillies square off against state ranked #7 Riverdale.

Congratulations to the Mustang Wrestling Team on winning the Kewanee Tournament Saturday. All 11 wrestlers placed. Linke, Kennedy, White & Roberts won titles. Kennedy was named outstanding wrestler of the tournament. Linke reached 100 career wins.




Tonight's Boy's Basket ball game vs E-P has been cancelled. Also the Girl's basketball team is not attending the Freeport tournament today. Both are the case of the weather and road conditions.

Northside Elementary will dismiss at 1:55 today all of the schools will be dismissing at 2:05.

Due to our early release there will be no afternoon PreK today.

Due to forecasted snow later today that could impact travel MCUD #6 will be dismissing one (1) hour early today at 2:05 pm.

Cancellations so far for this weekend. Tonight's Boy's Basketball game vs Orion has been cancelled. The JV wrestling tournament in Erie has been cancelled. Tomorrow's Freshman basketball games at Newman have been cancelled. I will pass on any other cancellations if they happen.

Saturday's Girls Basketball tournament at Freeport Aquin has had an adjustment to the start time. Morrison will play its first game at 1:30 pm and the second at 4:30 pm.

The MCUSD 6 Caring Closet would like to thank everyone for their amazing donations in our first year. Due to a limited amount of space and the community's overwhelming generosity, we are at this time no longer accepting donations to the Closet. We will continue to distribute the items that have been donated as well as post updates about any future needs. Thank you again, Morrison, for your awesome support of our students!

The sophomore tour of WACC that was scheduled for 1/15/2020 has been rescheduled for 1/31/2020.
