Saturday's Girls Basketball tournament at Freeport Aquin has had an adjustment to the start time. Morrison will play its first game at 1:30 pm and the second at 4:30 pm.
The MCUSD 6 Caring Closet would like to thank everyone for their amazing donations in our first year. Due to a limited amount of space and the community's overwhelming generosity, we are at this time no longer accepting donations to the Closet. We will continue to distribute the items that have been donated as well as post updates about any future needs. Thank you again, Morrison, for your awesome support of our students!
The sophomore tour of WACC that was scheduled for 1/15/2020 has been rescheduled for 1/31/2020.
Just a quick reminder that we are dismissing at the normal time today NOT 1:05.
We have been made aware that a local media outlet is reporting the Morrison schools are cancelled for today, that is not accurate we are still in a 2 hour delay
With the delayed start there will be no WACC bus today.
Due to icy road conditions MCUD #6 will have a 2 hour delayed start. The early release scheduled for today is cancelled and we will dismiss at the regular times.

This is a reminder that the 2020 Illinois 5 Essentials Parent Survey opened on Oct. 24, 2019. The survey window will close on Feb. 14, 2020. If you have not yet taken the survey, please do so for every building you have a student in.

Time is running out to order the 2019-2020 MJHS Yearbook. Cost is $19 and can be ordered up to Jan. 31st. Order forms are available in the MJHS Office.
There have been a couple additions to cancellations for this weekend. Tonight's basketball games with Sherrard have been cancelled. Also the Cheerleaders will not be attending the competition in Woodstock tomorrow.
Tomorrow's Freshman Boy's Basketball tournament at Kewanee has been cancelled due to the forecast. As of 8:15 am all other scheduled weekend events are on. I will send out updates if anything changes with scheduling.
Tonight's wrestling meet at Riverdale High School will only be a dual with Riverdale, Putnam County/Hall has withdrawn. The meet will still start at 5:30 pm.

For the third year in a row, Spectrum Brands in Dixon, Illinois has provided the Morrison School District with all the batteries they will need for a year. They also included flashlights for one of our Southside classes this year. Thank you Spectrum Brands!
