Many thanks to Southside Elementary Principal Matt McCormick and Dist. #6 Director of Technology William Patton for organizing a successful Video Game Night at Southside on Thursday, May 16. A few Morrison High School Key Club members volunteered to monitor laser tag and the video game area during the event, and some members (such as Jeramiah Callan) even played the video games along with the students! Mr. McCormick and Mr. Patton also enjoyed a round of Guitar Hero, much to the delight of Southside’s students.

The Morrison Athletic Boosters held a meal drive-thru event at Morrison High School on Tuesday, May 14 starting at 4:30 p.m. featuring pork chops, pork burgers, and hot dogs. Boosters members grilled the food and coordinated operations in the outdoor concession stand. Donations from individuals and organizations in the community contributed to the event’s success. Many thanks to all who turned out to purchase a meal on Tuesday evening! The event was so successful that the Boosters sold all available meals by 6:15 p.m. Coach Nate Vandermyde and members of the Morrison Mustangs Football team assisted members of the Boosters during the event. Thank you to the Boosters for your work as “the team behind the team” throughout the year!
