Good Luck to the High School Boys Basketball team for tonight's IHSA Regional game against BV. The game will tipoff at 6:00 pm at BV High School.
Morrison High School’s Scholastic Bowl team achieved a first-place finish at the Masonic Sectional Tournament at Prophetstown High School on Saturday, Feb. 22.
Morrison won each of its five matches on Feb. 22, defeating Amboy (310-80); Fulton (280-160); Erie-Prophetstown; (240-200); Eastland (250-170); and Ashton-Franklin Center (300-160).
Ashton-Franklin Center finished second, followed by Erie-Prophetstown (third place) and Fulton (fourth-place).
Morrison’s team consisted of Violet Mills, Blaine Williams, Quinn Blevins, Shawn Simpson, Daniel Melton, and Logan Peavy. The team’s participation in the Illinois Masonic Academic Bowl was underwritten by Dunlap Lodge #321 in downtown Morrison.
Morrison’s team has advanced to the Illinois Masonic Academic Bowl’s State Tournament, which will be held at Bloomington High School on Saturday, March 8.
It was a fantastic Friday night at MHS! We had a great crowd of about 150 students dancing the night away at February Fling. Thank you to Jason Buikema for his DJ services and to all of the teachers that helped chaperone! Any proceeds from the dance will help MHS Student Council get prizes for March Madness and other student activities.
Cael lost his match this morning. His season comes to an end, but what a season it was. Great Job Cael!!
Cael Wright wins again. Cael won his match this afternoon 13-3. He will wrestle again around 9:00 am tomorrow morning. Congratulations Cael!!

The webstore for the track and field team is open starting today through the 26th of February. There is not only track and field apparel but also "Morrison Athletic" apparel for those wanting to support all teams. Please help support our Morrison athletic teams!!
There will be a send off for Cael Wright starting at 2:30 pm tomorrow. Cael's first match on Thursday will be approximately noon he should be the 4th match called. Brady Anderson is the sectional alternate at 165. Good Luck in Champaign.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, today’s 6th Grade Girls Basketball Game at Amboy is cancelled. We are working on a make-up date. There is no practice after school today.
Because of the forecasted cold temperatures Tuesday morning, we are going to have a two-hour delay. Breakfast will not be served and there will be no morning preschool.
Congratulations to Cael Wright for qualifying for the IHSA Sate Wrestling Tournament next weekend in Champaign. Cael earned the right to go to the state meet by becoming a Sectional champion. Great Job!!!
