Mrs. Reyes' and Mrs. Brockel's 7th grade ELA students have been studying plastic pollution and recycling. As a hands-on learning activity, they spent a day cleaning up trash around the school grounds. Although the grounds looked pretty clean initially, they did find a couple of trash bags full!
With the latest round of rain the fields are not playable. Tonight's high school baseball and softball games have been cancelled.
Northside would like to thank Home Depot for coming in and building toolboxes with our kindergarten students. We would also like to thank our parent volunteers who helped out as well. The students had a blast.

Congratulations to Erika King for qualifying to the IHSA state track meet next week. Erika ran 2:29:99 in the 800 last night setting a new Personal Record. Erika will compete next Wednesday in Charleston. Good Luck and Great Job Erika!!
