The kindergarten classes at Northside would like to say "Thank you" to all of the parents and members of the community who volunteered to help on the fishing trip. Also, thank you to the Rockwood staff for all of their help as well. The kids loved it!
Today the high school Blind leaders read to the students at Northside. Afterwards, the students were given a book to take home to keep, courtesy of the Rotary Club.

Morrison High School Senior Spotlight - Kendra Fisher
Mr. Dolan was named Athletic Director of the year for District 4 by the Illinois Athletic Directors Association. He was nominated by his peers in the local region, which consists of 20 teams. From there, his name was submitted to a committee who chose the winner from 4 different regions that span from the Quad Cities to Rockford. One of the quotes from the recommendation letter states: “Mr. Dolan has displayed tremendous adaptability and willingness to serve the needs of the district in every way possible.” Congratulations Mr. Dolan on a well deserved honor!
Quick update tonight's regional softball game will be at Alwood Elementary School 101 East A St. Alpha, IL 61413 not the High School.
Congratulations to the Varsity Softball team on their 13-2 win over Galva last night. The Fillies advance to the Regional Semi-Finals against Woodhull. First pitch this evening is at 4:30 pm at Woodhull High School. Nice job last night and keep it going!!

Emmanuel Reformed Church is hosting a Baccalaureate service for 2022 graduates on Sunday May 22nd at 6:30 pm. This service is open to all area HS graduates and all who want to support them. Graduates should meet in the lower level of the Church starting at 6pm and will proceed in together at 6:25pm. Please wear your cap and gowns.
Reminder: If your 7th or 8th grader is interested in the New York Art Trip next June, the meeting is tonight at 7pm in the Junior High Art Room. A parent will need to attend.
