
Kindness Club met for the first time today. Keep an eye out for some wonderful ways these 4th graders are spreading kindness throughout the school and community.



The Fillies Swimmers are hosting a car wash at Superwash this Sat. Aug. 24 from 9:00-1:00. Please come by if you need a car wash!! We will be taking donations for our swimming program and to donate to improvements in the high school weight room.

Mustang Mentors kicks off in 2 weeks! Our mentors met today to discuss expectations and get some information about this huge honor. Thanks Ms Robinson for helping our students learn how to be leaders in our school and community!!!



MHS students were treated to popcorn during their lunch periods as a end of the first week of school treat.

The Morrison Kiwanis Club and Key Club will hold their fifth Sandwich Sale of the year on Saturday, August 3 at Rt. 30 & Rt. 78/Cherry Street. Bring your Mustang-sized appetite for ribeyes, pork chops, brats, hot dogs, beverages, and snacks! Thank you to all those who have turned out so far this year at the Sandwich Sales to help the Kiwanis Club raise funds for non-profit groups that sponsor programs for Morrison's young people!

Northside and Southside Elementary Schools will be holding our Backpack Night on Monday, August 12.
Northside: 4:30 - 5:30 PM
Southside: 5:30 - 6:30 PM
You and your student can stop in during this time and drop off supplies and meet your teacher.


HS Parking: All fees must be paid before you can purchase a parking pass.

6th Grade Volleyball Practice Officially Begins August 5th at the Junior High from 3:30 to 5:00 PM. Make sure you have updated physicals and get those school and athletic fees paid ASAP. Have shorts, tennis shoes, and knee pads ready to go.
We will have a parent meeting that same day after practice as well to go over expectations, schedules, and uniforms.
The school office will be open starting July 29th for you to start bringing paperwork in and to pay your fee.

The Morrison HS Key Club is working with Impact Life to sponsor a blood drive on Thursday, July 18 at Emmanuel Church, 202 E. Morris Street in Morrison.

The Morrison School District is looking for a volunteer volleyball coach (previously a stipend position) for the 2024 5th grade volleyball season. This position could be a shared position if needed. Coaches must have a coaching certificate (available online), concussion protocol training (also available online), and must pass an FBI background check. The City of Morrison’s Parks and Recreation Department and the Morrison High School Key Club are partnering to host a Family Bingo Night (for guests age six and older) at Odell Public Library on Thursday, July 11 at 6:30 p.m. The event, which will be held in the library’s Community Room, will feature large, easy-to-read bingo cards to make the game accessible and fun for children and adults. Prizes of nominal value will be awarded to the winners during each round. The event will conclude shortly after 7:30 p.m.
Following the July 11 event, Family Bingo Night will be held again on Thursday, August 8 at 6:30 p.m.
