Congratulations to Koby Brackemeyer for qualifying for next Saturday’s Oregon Cross Country sectional.

The Morrison Mustangs will play Cambridge-Ridgewood Co-op in the first round of the IHSA football playoffs. At this time the official game time has not been set. Once the Date and Time have been finalized it will posted on the Morrison Website. Go Stangs!!

What is Red Ribbon Week and why are we participating? National Family Partnership, or NFP, was established as a grassroots, nonprofit organization in 1980 by a handful of concerned and determined parents who were convinced they should begin to play a leadership role in drug prevention. Their mission is to lead and support our nation’s families and communities in nurturing the full potential of healthy, drug free youth. NFP sponsors the National Red Ribbon Campaign that we take part in. Red ribbons are a symbol of our commitment to raise awareness of the destruction caused by drugs in America. Here are the dress up days for Red Ribbon Week. MJHS Students of the Quarter. These students have been chosen by their teachers as our Students of the Quarter. They were rewarded today with a pizza party during lunch. Congratulations to all!!

1st quarter recognition asssembly was held today. Student were honored for the artistic, athletic, and acadmeic achievements. Mr. Jim Still, a long-time educator, spoke to the students about his personal experiences and the importance of making a positive choices.

Get your 2019-20 Mustang Wrestling gear! The compression tee package is an approved 2-piece that can be worn as a singlet for competition. Gear orders are due by Tues, Oct. 29. Submit them to Tony Wright or your school secretary. Make checks payable to MHS Wrestling.

Due to a last minute conflict with one of the teams schedule, tomorrows Morrison Girls Swim meet has been moved to 5:00 pm Thursday 10-17.

Career Fair Update- a temporary employment agency has been added to our career fair. Students looking for part time work might want to stop by their booth on November 7th from 3-7 pm at MHS.

Brady Wolf was a Medalist Monday at the Columbus Day cross country invitational in Amboy. Lindsey Houldson was the top girls finisher for Morrison.

7th/8th grade boys basketball begins October 15th. All students that have signed up have received all of the paperwork needed to participate. If you have any questions, please contact us.
