Former Morrison resident Megan Mann spoke with students in Morrison High School’s Driver Education classes on Wednesday, February 17 regarding the dangers of fatigued driving. Miss Mann, who was involved in a serious crash in 2018, described how planning for a long-distance trip, getting enough sleep, and respecting the body’s need for sleep are key ingredients to avoid tragic outcomes on the road.

Also below is the plan for allowing parents into our home games.
All fans are asked to enter the building via the pool ramp door.
Due to IHSA/IDPH limits on crowd size each athlete will be allowed two (2) guests per contest from their household and fans will only be allowed to watch the game that their student athlete is participating in.
The IHSA and IDPH have asked that fans not shout, chant, or sing during indoor contests.
There will be no entry fee for MHS home games.
All home games will be streamed on the NFHS Network

Listed below are guidelines specifically for parents/guardians attending home games:
F/S attendees may arrive after 5:00 pm. Varsity game attendees for players and cheerleaders may arrive after 6:30 pm.
Masks MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES by all fans in attendance.
No outside food or drink will be allowed and there will be no concession stand.
Attendees will be asked to sign in and have their temperature checked.
Gym doors will remain closed throughout the game.
Attendees needing to use the restroom are asked to exit the gym through the south doors (nearest the elevator) and to use the restrooms on the main floor. Attendees should re-enter the gymnasium using the same door.
At the end of the games fans are asked to exit the gym via the south door (nearest the elevator)
Parents/guardians who have athletes at both levels are asked to re-enter the gym using the same procedure as earlier.
Parents of cheerleaders and pons only interested in seeing the halftime performance should arrive between 7:00 pm and 7:15 pm. At halftime of the varsity game parents will be allowed to enter the West side of the gymnasium to watch the performance. Once the performance is over parents/guardians are asked to exit the gym and then the building.
