Friday Night Football Is Back!

We’re excited to welcome our students, families, alumni, and community members to another great season of Morrison football! We love seeing our stands filled with Mustang pride and appreciate everyone who comes out to support our athletes.

As we begin our home football games, we are implementing a few new safety procedures to help make sure our games remain a safe, enjoyable, and welcoming experience for everyone.

Safety is our top priority. At the same time, we want our fans to relax, cheer loudly, support our athletes, and enjoy everything that makes Friday night football special!

Please take a few minutes to review the attached Home Football Game Safety Procedures before attending a game. These guidelines are designed to help us keep everyone safe while allowing our community to continue enjoying the excitement and tradition of Mustang football.

We appreciate your cooperation, patience, and support as we put these procedures into place. When we all do our part, we can create a safe and positive environment for our students, athletes, families, and fans.

Hello Morrison Fans,

I have some exciting news to share on behalf of our athletic program! Together with Hudl, we plan to offer a livestream of every home varsity game played in our gym or on our field.

While we always encourage fans to attend our games in person, we know that isn’t always possible. Our livestream will give working parents, family members who live far away, alumni, and other fans the opportunity to tune in and support Morrison athletics from wherever they are.

We will be offering pay-per-view passes on an annual, monthly, and single-game basis:

* Single-game pass: $8
* Monthly pass: $15
* Yearly pass: $75

These prices are intended to be comparable to the cost of attending games in person.

By offering fans the ability to watch our games through a high-quality broadcast, we hope to generate additional revenue for our athletic program. This revenue will help support our athletes through the purchase of new uniforms, equipment, and other athletic needs. (https://fan.hudl.com)

Today 35 MHS Key Club and Student Council members, along with their advisors clocked 273 total volunteer hours working the Custom Pak picnic at Eagle Point park. Well done MHS!

MHS Open House will be held Monday, August 24th from 5:30-7:00 pm. Students may pick up their iPads during this time. Please see the flyer for information about the event.

Welcome to the district Mr. Peyton Ward. Mr. Ward was a regular substitute teacher in building last year and is now ready to begin as a full time teacher.

Northside Families: This is a reminder that Backpack Night is tonight, Monday, August 17, 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM. Please excuse the mess as we are still finishing up some construction projects. Our front parking spaces are currently unavailable due to sealcoating so you will need to park along High Street or Cherry Street. We look forward to seeing you tonight!

Morrison High School’s Driver Education Program would like to recognize Kunes Auto Group of Morrison for its support for Driver Education. District #6 receives favorable lease terms from Kunes each year on a vehicle for use during Morrison High School’s Driver Education classes, and the 2026-27 school year is no exception. Students will benefit from the use of a 2025 Chevrolet Trax during this year’s Driver Education classes. Many thanks to the team members at Kunes Auto Group for their dedication to the community, including their longtime support for Driver Education in Morrison!

MJHS is happy to welcome Miss Karol Sheese as our new band director. Miss Sheese will be splitting her time between MJHS and MHS. Welcome Mrs. Sheese.
