Congrats to these young gentlemen on setting a new state record in class 1A at the state track and field meet today with a time of 41.88. Levi Milder, Josh McDearmon, Kolton Swaim, and Brady Anderson.
Big day in prelims as the 4x200 team shatters Morrison's own state record set last year. The 4x100 also qualifies for finals. (Brady Anderson, Levi Milder, Josh McDearmon, Koltin Swaim) Levi and Brady also break the 200M record unofficial and qual for the finals in the 100M as well. Josh qualifies for the 110Hurdles. Morrison stays alive to defend their individual and team title this Saturday.
Congratulations Bette Wiebenga for being selected as this year's "Volunteer of the Year" award by the Morrison Schools Foundation. Bette works behind the scenes with the PTO Holiday shop, reads to students, takes care of the landscaping at Northside, and so much more. Bette, thank you for everything you do for all of us!

The Morrison High School Football Team got a nice addition to their program. This shed will safely hold all of their equipment instead of it being in the locker room. Thank you to Dearview Construction and Color Star Painting for donating the shed. Thank you to Kurt Stralow Trucking for hauling it to its final destination. Also, thank you to Frary Lumber in Fulton for donating the steel double door. The Mustangs appreciate everything!
Congratulations to Adlee Barajas who placed 16th in the 100 meter and 11th in the 200 meter at the IESA State Track Meet. The boys 7th grade 4 x 400 team placed 13th and Cohen Wroble placed 8th place and medaled in the discus. Congratulations athletes!

Thank you to the Walmart Distribution Center #7024 for donating fruit, granola bars, water and sports drinks to our Track team for the IESA Sectional Track Meet last weekend. Not only did our athletes benefit from it, other athletes from different schools did as well. When the concession stand ran out of water, our team donated it to other athletes so they could stay hydrated.
