As we reach the final weeks of the school year, the Prom Committee members would be remiss if we did not take a moment to recognize the local businesses and individuals who helped make this year’s Prom a success. We would like to thank Spangler’s Landscaping and Garden Center for the use of 12 beautiful, potted arborvitae that enhanced the décor at the Rock Falls Community Building during Prom on Saturday, April 25. We would also like to thank MHS alumnus Keegan Strobbe for transporting the arborvitae to and from Rock Falls.

Thank you to local designer Gracen Harmon, proprietor of https://www.gharmonportfolio.com/, for her outstanding work designing the Grand March program, the Prom tickets, and a welcome sign for this year’s event.

We would like to recognize LuEllen Lee and Kenzie Workman of The Blue Violet for their fantastic work on lighting and décor in Rock Falls as well as flowers for the Prom Court members during Grand March. Thank you to Kenzie for managing the photo station through her work with Picture Perfect Memories. Thank you to Nathan Schaefer for serving as DJ, and many thanks to Onsite Photography’s staff for their work during Grand March and Prom.

The parents of junior-year students deserve recognition for hosting fundraisers and managing a raffle to fund the Post-Prom festivities at Urban Air Adventure Park.

We also appreciate the fantastic generosity of Walmart Distribution Center #7024, which donated oranges, muffins, and other treats for Post-Prom students and chaperones to enjoy. Thank you to all who played a part in this year’s Prom festivities!

Mark your calendars for next year’s Prom, which will be held at Eagle Point Lodge in Clinton, IA on Saturday, April 24, 2027.

Swing by, grab a delicious meal, and support our amazing student-athletes—all without leaving your car.
