The Morrison Wrestling Program will be having our Pancake breakfast Sunday 9/17 from 8:00-12:00 On the corner of Genesee & Main St. Hope to see you there.

Today was the first day where the High School football team went to Southside and Junior High to help with student drop off. They will play, help unload kids from cars, and make sure kids are ready to go for their day. This will be a weekly occurrence throughout the football season on Friday's. Next week we will expand to Northside as well. The Football team thanks everyone for their support!!








The high school girls swim meet scheduled for Thursday 9- 14 has been cancelled due to Rockford Christian not having a team this year.
I heard back from our tech department as of right now everything with the NFHS camera is working for tomorrow night's home football game.
If the NFHS camera is not working on Friday night please use the Morrison Athletic Booster's Facebook page as a resource to watch the game. The tech department continues to try and troubleshoot the issues with camera on the field.
Morrison High School would like to thank the Morrison Athletic Boosters for their generous donation of a brand new Morrison Mustang mascot costume!
He will be making his debut this Friday night at the home football game vs Orion!
We will be holding a contest to name the new mascot with all four schools over the next couple weeks and we will be announcing his name at Thuse. The winner will be receiving $20 in Morrison Chamber Bucks and a free spirit wear t-shirt.

Tonight's F/S football game with Princeton is still scheduled to start at 5:30 pm. If the temperatures deem a delay to kickoff we will make those decisions at game time.
Many thanks to the community members who purchased sandwiches, snacks, and soft drinks during the Key Club Sandwich Sale on Saturday, Sept. 2. Morrison Kiwanis Club President Steve Davis ran the grill, and Kiwanis members and Key Club students prepared sandwiches during the event. The Key Club volunteers consisted of Brianna Groenewold, Danielle Fulton, Alayna Zinke, Kenzie Bruckner, Maddie Mertes, Zayley Boonstra, Claire Temple, and Jayci Bormann. The next Kiwanis Club Sandwich Sales event will be held on Saturday, Sept. 16 during Paint the Town in downtown Morrison.

Staff Sergeant Devin Mays of the Illinois Army National Guard visited Morrison High School’s American Government classes on Friday, Sept. 1. During his presentation, Staff Sergeant Mays discussed his service in the National Guard as well as the career and education-related benefits of National Guard service.

The next Key Club Sandwich Sale is right around the corner! Bring your appetite for ribeyes, pork chops, brats, and hot dogs to the intersection of Rt. 30 & Rt. 78 on Saturday, Sept. 2. The sale will run from approximately 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

The Morrison Football team had the opportunity to help move the Morrison Food Pantry to their new location. Great work gentleman!!



Just a reminder that Morrison Junior High student pictures are tomorrow, August 29th. Order forms were given to students last week. You will be able to order pictures online as well.
Tonight's volleyball games with Annawan will start at 5:00 pm. Annawan only has two levels so we will play the JV games at 5:00 pm with the varsity games to follow.
