Each student received $10 to Urban Eats and a MHS t-shirt and certificate of recognition.

Congratulations to our January MJHS "Students of the Month" They were treated to pizza, pop, and ice cream today for their efforts.

State caravan: There will be a fire truck led caravan at noon tomorrow to celebrate the wrestlers. We will start at French Creek and travel down main and finish at the high school. Come out and celebrate!

Congratulations to the Morrison Mustangs wrestling team for their performance at state this weekend. Cael Wright finished in third place. He lost his first match of the weekend and won five matches in a row during wrestle backs to take third. His last four wins were against opponents that had previously beaten him during the season. Eli and Caleb Modglin both went 2-2 and lost heartbreakers in the blood round. Noah Stout finish the weekend 1-2. Congratulations boys, Mustang nation is proud of you!

Last week the MHS B.L.I.N.D.leaders and all of our freshmen worked together to make Valentine's Day cards for all nursing home residents in Morrison. On Thursday the leaders and many freshmen made their rounds to deliver the cards. The residents enjoy these visits and seeing our students give back to the community. Well done!

Today's Girls Basketball Game at Fulton will be 7th Grade only. There will be no 8th grade game. The 7th grade game will start at 4:00PM in the West Gym at Fulton High School.

If you have a child who turns 5 before September 1, 2026, and will be attending kindergarten at Northside Elementary this fall, it's time to schedule their kindergarten screening!

The first available screening date is next Wednesday, February 18th. Please call the Northside office at 815-772-2153 to schedule an appointment.

If your child already attends a preschool program in Morrison, there is no need to schedule an appointment as those students will be screened at their preschool.
